Blue

This is a very small sketch done this afternoon.  When I think I just have time to do some small quick thing I usually regret starting it because they become too small to work with.  Anyway, this one came together after a bit of fiddling.  Pastel pencil on Fabriano Tiziano pastel paper.

Wow, Rosalie, I love this! I love the design of it and the little dangly bits and details and the color arrangement. It's just beautiful!
I also really liked your ginkgo mono-prints and am going to go look up more about solar prints. I have heard they are complicated to do.

Thanks for stopping by Tonya. This was a small quick one. I only had a short course of Solar printing but it was not complicated. Some interesting results can be obtained with it. The sunshine in Bahrain should be perfect for it. :)

What a lovely drawing. Maybe you can use this small version for a basis to a larger one. Call it inspiration.

Thanks for commenting Fay. I may consider your suggestion. :)

This is fabulous Rosalie! I love the "quickness" of it, the color and the edges. That is to say the face and her gaze looking complete with the edges wandering off - its compelling.

Thank you Leslie for your positive comments :) I'm going to give this small drawing to a friend when she visits me before Christmas.
